Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro to compete at Olympia

  • Olympic gold medal winners Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro are to compete at Olympia next month.

“My wish came true! I am riding at Olympia this year and it’s on Valegro #overthemoon,” tweeted Charlotte today (Tuesday 6 November).

Carl Hester and Roly Luard’s 10-year-old gelding has been for sale since the Olympics, but is still on Carl’s yard in Newent, Gloucestershire.

The pair will compete in the Reem Acra FEI World Cup dressage, supported by Horse & Hound.

It takes place on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 December. Nominations for the class will be announced on 17 November.

And on Tuesday 18 December Carl Hester will be interviewed live at the show by Clare Balding, talking about his Olympic experience and working with Charlotte.
