Ann Barnaby’s homebred 12-year-old grey mare, Another Quest, qualifed for HOYS under Ali Rowell at Badgworth.
Ali, a broadcast journalist, has evented Another Quest up to intermediate level. During the winter they hunt with the Monmouthshire. They qualified for the winter dressage championships last year before Ali suffered a broken neck in April. Ali and Another Quest were reunited only a week before the SFAS qualifier at Badgworth. Ali, who competed in a First Ridden class at HOYS at the age of 8, said: “As I have only been back on the mare for a week, we are a bit rusty but qualifying for HOYS is just amazing!” |
