Horse & Hound dressage editor Alice Collins talks to US rider Laura Graves about her meteoric rise through the ranks after riding her first grand prix test just 8 months before representing her country at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Laura scored 77.157% riding Verdades to finish 8th in the grand prix special.

Laura explains she was only invited to the American national dressage championships because higher ranked riders were unable to attend.
