Lee Williams replaces Georgie Strutton at HOYS

  • Welsh show jumper Lee Williams has gained his chance to compete in the international classes at the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS).

Lee finished third in the wildcard qualifiers at Rowallan Activity Centre, Ayrshire (7-9 September). Georgie Strutton, who finished one place ahead of him, has been disqualified because one of the horses on whom she scored points was grade B.

The wildcards are for points scored on grade A horses only.

The remaining two HOYS wildcards will be awarded at Unex Towerlands on 21-24 September.
