British showjumpers remain number 1 and 2 in the world


  • British showjumpers Scott Brash and Ben Maher remain number 1 and 2 in the world.

    The Longines FEI World Rankings were revealed today (Tuesday 4 February) and confirm the British pair as the top 2  for the 3rd month running.

    In December 28-year-old Scott was named the top rider in the world, knocking fellow Brit Ben off the number 1 spot.

    Ben became the first Brit in 2 decades to secure the top ranking when he shot to the top of the rankings in September.

    German rider Ludger Beerbaum is in 3rd while teammate Marcus Ehning has risen to 4th and the US’s Beezie Madden drops to 5th.
