Our reviewer loved the flattering fit and comfort of these breeches

These breeches arrived with me to test at the end of May. This was great timing with the competition season well underway there will be plenty of opportunities to test these white breeches at shows as white is not a colour for everyday riding or just wearing to the stables.

I’m a huge fan of technical products so I’m looking forward to testing the ‘coolmax’ element of these breeches in the Great British weather conditions. As these breeches feature highly technical material which promises temperature control and wicking properties to suit any weather condition.

    Coolmax breeches

These breeches come in a size 24 to 34 and I have a size 26 to test which I would say are true to size, you certainly wouldn’t need to go down a size in them. They feature a four way stretch material and from trying on at home seem to allow good movement and no restrictions.

White breeches aren’t always the most flattering of products however these breeches certainly aren’t see through and seem to have got the balance right between thickness and ability to have freedom to move.

    stretch ankles

The breeches only come in a regular length, I’m 5’9″ so for me I would love it if there was a long length version however the length of the breeches didn’t inconvenience me. This was perhaps due to the sock ankle which doesn’t inconvenience if a bit short in the same way I find Velcro fastening irritating when they come up too short.

The breeches feature a silicone grip knee patch which is very discreet on the white variety of these breeches. I’m keen to see how this will wear after a few rides and lots of washing so will report back.

    Grip knee

The last feature to report on from first try on is the two zip pockets on the front that will be super handy to secure my lorry keys in while competing.

I’m optimistic that these breeches are going to be comfy to ride in and I plan to thoroughly test these breeches so come back for an update in six weeks to find out if the technical fabric delivers on its promises, how the breeches are to ride in and how well they wash up. Will they still be a dazzling white in six weeks’ time?

    6 weeks later

I’ve now had a chance to ride several times in these breeches at competition and must say I have been really pleased with them. They are very comfortable to ride in allowing good movement and the grip knee’s ensuring you are keep secure in the saddle. The breeches have been tested in a variety of weather conditions including torrential rain where they proved water resistant and quick drying keep me warm when it turned cold but never too hot.

They have also washed up extremely well and are still dazzling white and retain their original fit.

My favourite element to the breeches is the four way stretch material – they really are very comfy to ride in while offering a flattering fit and are a great addition to my competition wardrobe.
