Protexin’s Gut Balancer gets alfalfa base
Protexin has reformulated its probiotic supplement, Gut Balancer, to make it more palatable.
Gut Balancer contains Protexin’s highly concentrated probiotic Saccharomyces cerevisiae (NCYC Sc47) 4b1702 1×109 CFU/g, plus Preplex, Protexin’s own unique prebiotic and now has an alfalfa base.
The company suggests owners can help to protect their horse against poor gut health, and boost immune support and every-day health, by adding a probiotic supplement to its daily feed.
Gut Balancer provides daily immune support and is ideal for horses lacking energy and condition and those who are susceptible to colic or during periods of stress (e.g. travel, competition) or antibiotic usage, says Protexin.
