Protexin adds Gut Bind to its Equine Premium range

Protexin have added a 5th product to their Equine Premium range. Gut Bind is a 2 course of probiotics, prebiotics, kaolin and pectin. It comes in a 30ml syringe and is designed to settle a foal’s disrupted gut. It can be used on foals from birth and is also suitable for horses of any age.

With a peppermint flavour the main ingredients provide the following support; Protexin probiotics help re-establish the normal hindgut microflora, Preplex prebiotics nourish the beneficial bacteria, kaolin is a natural binding agent to firm up faeces, and pectin helps to soothe the gut lining.

The 4 other products in the Equine Premium range are Gut Balancer, Acid Ease, Quick Fix and Recover Aid.

International event rider Piggy French has tested the product on her yard.
