  • Tuffa has launched a new boot for riders with larger calves.

The Breckland Boots have been carefully designed to “combine elegance with great fit for ultimate comfort”.

“Anyone who rides will know that when you’re competing, in whatever sport, it’s important to not only look great, but to be comfortable too,” said Michelle Girling from Tuffa Boots.

“A number of our long boots are available in a wider fit for larger calves, but with the Breckland and our Broadland Boot, we’ve designed them for this purpose with our broad versions accommodating a 19in calf.

“The Breckland has been made for those who compete as it’s great looking, sleek and elegant, but incredibly comfortable and flattering too, helping the rider to perform to their full potential.”

Breckland Boots are made using aniline leather with leather linings and durable, neat rubber riding soles.

The boots have an elastic panel at the rear for a “comfortable and close fit” around the calves. A side zip also reduces the strain that back zips are subjected to during normal ridden activity.

Breckland Boots are available in black in sizes 3-9, in standard and wide calf widths. Prices start from £225.
