A new rug which is buckle-free and slips on has been launched.
The Herbb Original rug was designed by horse-owner Julia Dunn and consists entirely of organic cotton/bamboo with a naturally coloured British wool braiding.
The rug slips on over the horse’s head and can be used as a show rug, travel rug, sweat rug or liner for extra warmth.

A spokesman from a local leading equine veterinary hospital, which uses the rugs on its patients, said: “It is a good material choice as it allows the horses to sweat and recover comfortably”.
The rug is available in indigo/white, hunter green/white or red/white and costs £55.
