Is this luxury gone too far or a new fashion necessity? Childéric has launched a new saddle made of ostrich leather.
A spokesman for Childéric said: “New for this season is the tanned Ostrich leather hide which offers a beautiful high fashion finish to any style of saddle. Add to the mix a nubuck cantle section and buttery soft orange calfskin leather and you have the ultimate in designer wear for horse and rider.”
The saddles start at £3,200 for a basic model with bespoke finishes and embellishment at additional cost.
