New anatomical girth from Bucas

Bucas equine supplies has added a new girth to its range of products — the Bucas Optima.

The girth’s lining is made of a high perfomance fabric, similar to a wetsuit, which prevents the girth from slipping during riding.

The outer side is made of a wipe clean fabric, which gives maximum flexibility and aids shape retention.

A spokesman for Bucas said: “The modern, anatomically shaped design gives freedom of movement around the elbow area. Designed to be used with jump, or GP saddles, the specially shaped wider mid-section ensures pressure is even throughout the chest area and also acts as a stud guard if used for jumping.”

The girth comes in sizes 36”— 60’ (100cm —150cm) and is available in black or brown and costs £52.
