Kentucky Horsewear has launched new fetlock boots, which are approved for FEI young horse classes.
The deep fetlock boot covers the inside of the pastern as well as the fetlock joint giving additional protection against strike injuries.
It has neoprene lining and has a single Velcro fastener.
“The boot’s strike zone is made of impact-protective D3O material, which locks on impact and disperses the blow in order to give the hind fetlock joint optimum protection,” said a company spokesman.
The boot costs £67.99 and is available from kentucky-horseshop.com
