  • Childéric has introduced a new dressage saddle to its competition collection.

The Childéric DSC Dressage Saddle features the company’s unique tree technology and a slim-line seat, which it says offers riders a deeper seat position, allowing for a closer and more connected feel with the horse.

“The same ethos was applied to the Childéric cross-country saddle, which is used by this year’s Badminton and Burghley winner Jock Paget,” said a spokesman for the company.

The saddle’s anatomically shaped panels, together with points that are set further back, work together to allow the horse to move through its shoulder. Bespoke knee blocks and varied seat depths and sizes ensure the rider’s weight is distributed evenly and are said to allow for clearer communication.

The saddle can be built to suit the horse and rider’s requirements. Prices start at £2,900.
