    How to get there

Leave M25 at junction eight and follow signs for Reigate. Take A25 through Reigate High Street towards Dorking, after approximately half a mile turn left after The Black Horse Pub on to Flanchford Road. Go past the golf club, following the road as it bears sharply left, and through the trees. Pass Trumpets Hill Road on your right and then the road narrows. After the road widens turn left into Littleton Manor Equestrian. More comprehensive details available from www.lmeq.com/findus. For satnav use RH2 8QZ. Please DO NOT attempt to enter via Littleton Lane (RH2 8LB).

    What the organisers say

All at Littleton are excited to host our first BE horse trials this October. The cross-country has been designed and will be built by James Willis, Badminton Horse Trials course-builder and designer of Badminton’s Grassroots Championships. James’s BE80(T), BE90 and BE100 tracks will be gently undulating and offer courses that are suitable for novice and experienced combinations alike.

Tracks will run over free-draining, sandy soil and use Littleton’s all-weather gallops alongside elements of our established cross-country schooling fields.

Dressage will be held on large flat fields with the showjumping on Littleton’s all-weather 50x60m arena.

We hope Littleton Horse Trials marks a truly special end to the 2015 season with a few surprises thrown in for riders, spectators and volunteers — including hopefully televised rugby World Cup matches! Sponsorship, tradestand and volunteering opportunities are available, please call 07771 600033.
