New range of wellington boot socks launched

A new range of wellie socks has been launched.

Breenies, are a range of British-made Wellington boot socks and toppers. They are the brainchild of Sam Penn and are made from fleece material, which has thermal qualities and adds extra comfort.

“Wellington boots, once the staple footwear for farmers and gardeners throughout the land,are now the must have fashion footwear item,” said a spokesman for Breenies.

“Long gone are the days when wellies where only seen hanging out of puddles and muddy field. But Wellies, as we all know, are not the most comfortable or the warmest footwear, for walking around the highstreet. So with this in mind we are proud to introduce Breenies, the Wellington boot sock.”

The socks come in ladies and kids sizes in in black, navy, red, bottle green, lilac, turquoise and yellow.

And with a fur cuff in black, grey, cerise and leopard.

The socks cost £15 a pair and £25 for fur cuffs.
