Police are investigating after a dead and mutilated pony was found in a ditch in Hampshire.
The coloured pony was discovered on Hook Road, in Greywell on Monday, 3 January.
Police believed the pony was dumped sometime between 25 December and 3 January.
A spokesman from the RSPCA told H&H that the carcass was found with its organs removed.
A police spokesman told press: “At this stage we are unsure how the pony died.”
