Man in Africa strangled after being dragged along by donkey

  • A man in Africa has died after being dragged along by a donkey.

Provident Ndimande from Filabusi in Zimbabwe was strangled after the donkey he was tied to bolted.

According to local press Mr Ndimande had been looking for his donkey for several days after it went missing.

After he had found it, the man tied its leadrope around his waist.

But shortly after, the donkey was chased by dogs and bolted, dragging Mr Ndimande behind him.

The man tried to free himself from the rope but it slipped up around his neck and strangled him.

Two boys tried to help him, but he was already dead.

The accident happened at around 11am on Saturday (21 November).
