Horse Rangers puts out call for former members to get in touch
The Horse Rangers Association is searching for former members to join its new alumni group.
The Horse Rangers Association (Hampton Court) is a charity that supports the development of children and young people, by teaching them to ride and look after horses.
More than 400 members attend each week, including those with special needs.
Now the group is appealing for past volunteers and staff, as well as former members, all the way back to the group’s founding in 1954, by Raymond Gordon at Shepperton, to get back in touch.
Melanie Bowell from Hampton is an ex-Horse Ranger and has already signed up.
She says “Friendships at HRA are formed for life. I am still pals with girls I met here and 40 years later we still talk about our days spent at Horse Rangers!”
Former members can reconnect and find old friends through a special Facebook page.
