Horse & Hound has launched The Cheltenham Festival A Celebration — a thick, glossy “bookazine” that features the highlights and history of the world’s most prestigious National Hunt race-meeting.
The Cheltenham Festival A Celebration focuses on the history, heroes and horses, including such loved stars as Desert Orchid, Kauto Star, Dawn Run, Best Mate and Sprinter Sacre, as well as top names including AP McCoy, Willie Mullins, Martin Pipe and Nicky Henderson. The stunning publication brings together a number of special reports on the race between 1815 and 2015.
“This bookazine provides the highlights and the history of the world’s most famous National Hunt race-meeting through the eyes of Horse & Hound, which has reported on the Cheltenham Festival for more than a century” said Catherine Austen, editor of The Cheltenham Festival A Celebration.
Horse & Hound‘s Content Director Sarah Jenkins added: “Horse & Hound‘s former Racing Editor has put heart and soul into creating this inspirational publication, which becomes apparent through her collation of stories and images that delighted former generations. For any racing enthusiast this is an unmissable collection, soon to be a coffee table classic.”
The Cheltenham Festival A Celebration is on sale in WH Smith (both travel and high street) and a range of other independents for just £9.99. A must have for any National Hunt race-meeting enthusiast and equestrians alike.
This is the second publication of its kind to come out of the Horse & Hound stable — the first being The 2015 Equestrian Year, which features highlights of top action from across the equestrian disciplines, including eventing, dressage, showjumping, showing and racing. This stunning annual is available to buy on Amazon for £9.99.
