Horse feed company HaySoft adds chaff to its range

Horse feed company HaySoft – which has previously specialised in haylage – has added two types of chaff to its range.

Like its haylage, HaySoft’s new “Hay Chaff” and “Oat Chaff” are both sourced and produced in Essex.

“HaySoft Chaff is produced from closely monitored grown grass and straw, that is cut at a time to provide optimum dietary benefits,” said a spokesperson.

As an addition to your horse’s hard feed the chaff provides high levels of fibre and slows down their rate of eating, promoting a healthy digestive system.

The “Oat Chaff” in particular is low in calories and ideal for good doers.
