Global Champions Tour expands with new partner
Showjumping series the Global Champions Tour (GCT) is expanding further with the addition of a new partner.
The series is joining up with McCourt Global, and hopes to stretch to America with the aim of increasing the fan base, sponsorship and media exposure “for the benefit of the sport,” said organisers.
“This is a ground-breaking year thanks to exciting new venues such as Paris (above), Shanghai and London’s Horse Guards Parade,” said Jan Tops, GCT president.
“Working with McCourt Global, we will innovate to bring showjumping to new audiences, new markets and new heights. We are all very excited by the opportunities.”
