Escaped horse on runway delays flights in Kuwait
Flights to Kuwait International Airport were delayed earlier this week after an escaped horse caused chaos on the runway.
According to Kuwait Crime News the horse escaped from the cargo of an aircraft that had just arrived from a neighbouring country.
The horse ran on to the runway and bolted down the landing strip, where it was hotly pursued by airport staff.
Workers tried to catch the horse, but to no avail, so called in security.
Security officers finally managed to tranquilise the horse after a long chase and removed it from the airport.
Four flights were delayed in the process.
