The Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) is calling for equine colleges to enter their top students for the Eqvalan Duo Equine Thesis of the Year award.
This is the 10th year of the award, which recognises outstanding academic achievement and research in equestrianism. The winner receives £500, silverware and a five-year membership to RASE.
Last year’s winner, Soraya Morscher from Limerick University, beat off four other finalists with her thesis “An Analysis of Peri-Parturient and Post-Natal Events in Thoroughbreds”.
The deadline for submitting theses is 25 July, with a shortlist announced in September. The finalists will present their theses to a panel of judges and audience of industry-based professionals during the Your Horse Live Event at Stoneleigh Park on 7 November.
