Claire Lomas nominated for inspiration award
Claire Lomas has been nominated as an “inspirational fundraiser” at this year’s Inspiration Awards for Women.
Claire was paralysed from the chest down in an eventing accident at Osberton Horse Trials in 2007.
This summer she completed the , raising more than £200,000 for Spinal Research
And Claire now plans to cycle from London to Paris using a bike powered by her legs and arms.
“Bike training is hard work, I’m just waiting for an outdoor bike and then I’ll see how my legs cope with the hills,” she told H&H.
“I’d really appreciate any votes, it would be a real boost if I could win this award and kick start the bike challenge.”
The awards will be held on Wednesday 3 October in London.
