The Champion Chase: H&H’s favourite past winners in pictures
Last year National Hunt fans were wowed as the mighty Sprinter Sacre demolished the opposition and won the Queen Mother Champion Chase by 19 lengths.
This year he’ll be missing the race, having been ruled out by trainer Nicky Henderson, who said he was “not showing the same brilliance as last season”.
Today’s (Wednesday 12 March) favourite is Sire De Grugy, trained by Gary Moore.
