Polo players to row across the Atlantic


  • A team of 4 British polo players, including former England captain Henry Brett, now have just has 3 weeks until they attempt to row across the Atlantic.

    The team, which is completed by James Glasson, Bobby Dundas and Fergus Scholes, are going to try to break the record for the 3,000 mile endurance race — the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.

    20 teams will take part in the race, which starts from the Canary Islands on 2 December. Teams hope to finish 39 days later in Antigua.

    The players have been in intensive training for the challenge and will be raising money for Hilton in the Community Foundation, Right to Play and the Brooke. Make a donation
