    • Dodson & Horrell has signed up as title sponsor of Chatsworth International Horse Trials in 2013.The feed company has a long history of support to equestrian sport.It already sponsors the PPORA Novice Riders Series; the Riding Club and Pony Club Eventer Challenge at Blenheim Horse Trials; Bramham Hunter Show; the Veteran Horse Society; British Dressage and British Showjumping, and is the official supplier of nutrition to Equestrian Team GBR.

      Sam Horrell, marketing director of Dodson & Horrell, said: “We work closely with riders and nutritionists at the top of their game and we know what goes in to producing a performance horse.

      “We feel our expertise in this area is a natural fit with the Chatsworth Horse Trials and the quality of the competitors that return year-on-year to this wonderful event.”

    • Carriage driver Andrew Hamilton Rhodes has won the support of Supreme Products, makers of preparation products for show ring and arena.Based in Gloucestershire, Andrew has four horses to compete throughout the 2013 season — hackneys Brookeborough Duke and Heartland Red Rocket; a Welsh Section D called Trixies Princess Eirwen and Brookfield Mark of Success in the hackney waggon classes.Andrew said: “It is wonderful to have secured support from Supreme Products. Their range of products is second-to-none and they go a long way in helping me to turnout my horses and ponies to the very highest standard.”
    • Team gold and individual silver paralympic medal winner at the 2012 Games Sophie Wells is now sponsored by WeatherBeeta.Sophie said: “I have used WeatherBeeta rugs on my horses for years due to the quality and style and how well they fit my horses. I am very excited.”
    • Riding hat company Charles Owen has continued its sponsorship of the Galway Downs International Three-Day Event in Temecula, California (1-4 November).Roy Burek, of Charles Owen & Co, said: “We welcomed the opportunity to provide helmets with unparalleled safety measures to the winners at this year’s Galway Downs Event. The rigors of eventing provide the perfect venue for our 4Star [helmet] and the protection it offers. “
    • Aloeride has added another rider to its team — eventer Victoria Bax.Victoria, who specialises in the retraining of ex-race horses, said that many arrive straight off the track requiring rehabilitation with Aloeride’s organic aloe-vera supplement.“I cannot believe just how quickly Aloeride improves the horses’ coats and general condition in such a short period of time,” said Victoria.
