Pony Club branch receives £10,000 grant

  • Pony clubbers at the Iveagh Branch will benefit from extended training hours, thanks to a grant for floodlights.

The branch, based in Moyallon, Northern Ireland, received a £10,000 grant to install floodlights around the main sand arena by The Big Lottery Fund, “Awards for All” programme.

“It will make a huge difference to Pony Club life as the nights draw in over the winter months,” said a spokesman for the branch.

“The addition of these lights will make Moyallon an all-year venue and will provide the members and their families with even better value for their membership subscription and field levy.”

Moyallon will be open over the winter months for rallies, training, competitions and schooling.
