BBC star to conduct hunt auction

Silent Witness star Tom Ward will conduct the Sinnington hunt’s auction on Friday, 11 May at Duncombe Park in North Yorkshire.

Star lots include a 10-day riding safari in Kenya, an epic southern Africa safari and accommodation in unique properties in locations such as Andaluc ­a, Corfu, Switzerland the Scottish Highlands.

Sporting treats include staghunting in France, two tickets to the Olympic cross-country day, a made-to-measure hunting coat, grouse shooting and stalking.

The event, which starts with a champagne reception, includes an exhibition by Jeremy Houghton, the Prince of Wales’s resident artist and an official artist for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
