What the organisers say
Hendersyde is a great local team effort, aiming to provide excellent going on old, sheep-grazed parkland and interesting courses for all levels as befits a championship for BE90, BE100 and novice. Above all, we hope to offer a friendly, welcoming event which prides itself on presentation and attention to detail to ensure a good experience for all our competitors, owners, sponsors and spectators.
David Evans has designed and built all three courses with several new additions for 2015.
Our intermediate novice will this year use a long arena and Keith McVittie will continue his excellent design work for the showjumping, creating fair and educational tracks to suit each class. We look forward to welcoming you all in August.
What the riders say
Dressage & showjumping — “The dressage arenas are held in a quiet field away from the showjumping and cross-country.” “There is plenty of warm-up area for the dressage.” “The showjumping arena is on a hill making it tricky but challenging.”
Cross country — “The cross-country is up to height and run on undulating ground, but with no steep hills. It could have more alternatives.” “A well-run event with fantastic volunteers.”
