Soaking hay has long been recognised as the simplest method of eliminating harmful dust spores, but it can prove backbreaking work for owners.

A new easy-to-use design called the Haywise Feeding Station has been launched to help make aching backs history.

Simply place the dry hay on a tray in the unit, fill the unit with water, soak the hay and then just pull the plug to allow the water to drain off. The unit can then be wheeled into the stable where the tray pushes damp hay up to the horse’s natural eating height.
