Caroline Harris is the latest Mars Badminton Horse Trials withdrawal for next month’s event (6-10 May).
The British rider won Pau Horse Trials in 2024 with D. Day and was due to make her Badminton debut with Cooley Mosstown, owned by Karen Dunford, Dinah Posford and Gail Sinclair.
Badminton Horse Trials withdrawal: Caroline Harris explains
“Sadly I’ve decided to withdraw Cooley Mosstown from Badminton. He just hasn’t been feeling totally himself and it wouldn’t be right to take him when he’s not on his A game,” said Caroline Harris of her Badminton Horse Trials withdrawal.
“He has given me so much already in his short career and our time will come to compete there. But for now I want to get him back feeling his best and ready to take on some exciting things in the second half of the year.
“I’m hugely sorry for his wonderful owners and my entire team, all of whom have backed us all the way and worked so hard to get us here.”
The 10-year-old Cooley Mosstown was due to make an exciting five-star debut, having finished second at Bramham Horse Trials and fourth at Boekelo at CCI4*-L last year.
