To help you get into the Christmas spirit, we are running a fun festive photo competition for H&H readers. Don’t be shy, simply take a picture of your horse with a festive twist and submit it to us for the chance to win £150 of Ride-Away vouchers, PLUS your horse could become the face of Horse & Hound Compare!

How to enter

Take a photo of your horse with a festive twist and then submit it to us in one of the following ways:

Competition format

Submit your photos by 12noon on Friday 14 December via the options above to be included in the first reader gallery (heat one) on facebook.

On Saturday 15 December, four photos from heat one will be selected by the Editor and published on Horse & Hound Compare website (click on competition tab) and will be open to a public vote until Friday 21 December.

Photos for heat two can be submitted via the options above between Saturday 15 December and 12 noon on Friday 21 December and will be collated into a second reader gallery on facebook.

On Saturday 22 December, four photos from heat two will be selected by the Editor and published on Horse & Hound Compare website (click on competition tab) and will be open to a public vote until Friday 28 December.

The photo with the most votes from heat one and heat two on the H&H Compare website will then go head-to-head in a final public vote from 31 December until 4 January to become the face of H&H Compare and win the Ride-Away vouchers.

No purchase necessary for entry. By submitting your entry you are agreeing to the use of your photograph by IPC Media. You must own the copyright of any photo being submitted. You may not submit other people’s photos without their permission. Anyone who does submit a photo which they do not own the copyright for will be disqualified. Good luck to all entrants, who must be 18 years or over.

Entry is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland except employees (and their families) of IPC Media, its printers and agents, the suppliers of the prizes and any other companies associated with the competitions. The winners must be aged 18 or over. Proof of identity and age may be required. Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void. The prizes are as stated, are not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are subject to availability and the prize suppliers’ terms and conditions. The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition. The winners will be chosen from all correct entries received by the closing date stated within the promotional material. Winners will be confirmed in writing. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact a winner. Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize. If they cannot be contacted, or are unable comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random. Where applicable, the decision of the judges is final based on the criteria set out in the promotion and no correspondence will be entered into over this decision.
