Leonora Smee’s blog: hoping my luck continues
Hi everyone,
I’m here at Sentower Park in Opglabbeek, Belgium, for an international show which is hosting a one-star, two-star and young horse competition. It’s fantastic because there’s something for everyone.
I’ve had a really successful show so far with a near-win in a 1.30m two-star class on Waltons Top Flight where I had to settle for second place and a couple of good rounds on one of my other horses, River Dance Semilly. I’m really happy with the horses as they’re jumping fantastically and I hope that my luck continues.
I’d like to now introduce you to Laurens Meynaerts, who is the owner and director here at Sentower Park. It’s wonderful to be back here every member of the team that works at Sentower Park makes us feel so welcome. Every time I return here, Sentower Park is adding or improving something to the facilities.
My show at Sentower finished nicely, with Waltons Top Flight jumping a double clear in the 1.35m two-star class. Unfortunately we incurred two time-faults in the jump-off, but we still managed to scoop eighth place.
I look forward to updating you soon on my time at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
