MINT Polo in the Park is the leading outdoor polo and luxury lifestyle event in central London, set in the illustrious surroundings of Hurlingham Park and the neighbouring Hurlingham Club in Fulham, south west London.
Blending fashion, retail, gastronomy, and a quintessentially British Summer atmosphere with thrilling high octane polo, it is the perfect way to kickstart the Summer social season with friends, family and colleagues.
On the 7, 8 and 9 of June, the hallowed turf will thunder with the hooves of world class polo ponies at this spiritual home of polo. Teams from around the globe will battle it out to be crowned champions of MINT Polo in the Park 2013, with IG Team Sydney, Camino Real Team Buenos Aires, Otkritie Team Moscow, CityAM Team Abu Dhabi, and Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Team Beijing all hoping to wrestle the title off current champions MINT Team London.
With a host of pitchside bars and other entertainment including The Pommery Champagne Garden, The PIMM’s Bus, The Stella Artois Clubhouse, the KERB Food Market, and the Luxury Shopping Village this event also provides the perfect introduction for those less well-acquainted with the sport of polo.
MINT Polo in the Park also believes an important part of any public event is raising money for charity, and is delighted to announce that Walking With The Wounded will return as the official charity partner for MINT Polo in the Park 2013.
Walking With The Wounded raises money to fund the training of wounded service personnel so that they are equipped with the skills and qualifications required to find long-term employment and create secure futures for themselves and their families.
Later this year Walking With The Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge 2013 will see teams of wounded servicemen and women from the four corners of the globe race across the Antarctic. Find out more at wwtw.org.uk.
