Making herbal medicine is not complicated and you can save yourself a lot of money. Even better, the raw material may be growing in the hedge behind your stable.
James Hart is a qualified medical herbalist with over 15 years’ experience in the treatment of humans, horses, dogs and other animals. Working closely with veterinarians and animal health practitioners, trainers and owners he helps identify and prescribe bespoke herbal therapies.
During the day-long workshops, James will introduce the small group to herbal medicine and understanding the quality and labelling of products and conduct a ‘Herbs of the Hedgerow’ walk, teaching you to identify and use freely available herbs.
By mid-afternoon you’ll also have learnt and made your own herbal extract, infused oil and cream, and there will be plenty of opportunity to garner top tips for treating yourself, and your animals.
Suitable for veterinary and animal therapy professionals, trainers to individual pet owners, the day is intended to be fun and informative and to capitalise on James’ wealth of knowledge.
The maximum group size is just 20, and the course cost — including a take home information pack and goody bag — is just £50.
