Dahab means ‘gold’ in Arabic and is the name given to the area because of its golden sands, located on the edge of the Sinai desert. Easily accessible from flights into Sharm el sheikh, and listed by Lonely Planet’s 1000 Ultimate Experiences as some of the world’s most sublime beaches, the area is home to Dahab Horse Riding Club.
Dahab also boasts some of Egypt’s most spectacular diving and trekking. A short walk, jeep ride or a trek on a horse or camel will bring you to some of the Red Sea’s most memorable dive sites, and a boat can bring you within easy striking distance of the world-class reefs in nearby Ras Mohammad National Park.
We cater for both novice and experienced riders, one to one or group hacks. Nestled among the blue lagoon, mountains, clear diving, desert trekking on horseback and ocean-side dinners, you may find yourself not wanting to leave.

For the ultimate horse riding holiday, we recommend our safari trips over 4-5 days, where you will camp under the stars, eat traditional cuisine, go snorkelling, gallop across with white sands of the beaches, and swim with horses during sunset, while taking in the panoramic views of our beautiful mountains and lagoons. Safari trips are available as seaside excursions, or mountains and national park adventures. We would also be delighted to show you the stunning landscapes on shorter trips, which can be booked by the hour, half day or full day.
