Fit not ideal
Our reviewer found these breeches robust and comfortable, although the fit could be better
These breeches were really comfortable — they feature a smooth, non-rub interior and soft full seat. Lycra panels on the lower leg below the knee make them really easy to pull on and take off, as well as providing lots of room for long socks and boots or gaiters. The wide waistband also means they don’t slide up or down.
They look smart and have an an attractive v-style high waist with belt loops and an ornamental Derby House pendant. In warmer weather I have worn tops tucked in. They feature two handy zip pockets that you can just about get a phone into.
Despite testing the breeches in beige, they have always come out clean in the wash and dry quickly. They also come in blue, grey and white.
My only problem with these breeches was the fit. I tested a size 26 (10) and although this was an ok fit on my legs they were quite baggy on my bum — not a good look! However, they were generally fairly loose, so would recommend going down a dress size if anything.
Verdict
A good value pair of smart and comfortable breeches, but fit could be improved
