Horse to equal record as Britain’s most-raced

Dvinsky, trained by Paul Howling, will equal the record for most raced racehorse when he runs in the in the 5.45pm race at Kempton Park today (Wednesday 12 September).

The 11-year-old Dvinksy will equal a record of 217 runs, which is currently held by Sharp Hat who was retired in 2007.

He faces 13 rivals in the Betdaq Dvinsky Record-Equalling 217th Run Handicap Stakes in his 76th appearance at Kempton Park. Tom McLaughlin will be riding the horse for the 26th time.

He has won 19 races – 10 of them at Kempton.

During his career which spans over 10 seasons he has been trained by eight different people, ridden by 44 different jockeys and earned £117,000 in prize money.
