Big Buck’s v Annie Power, the World Hurdle in pics
The World Hurdle is today’s (Thursday 13 March) feature race at the Cheltenham Festival.
The past few years have been dominated by Big Buck’s — the popular and handsome French gelding.
He’s won 4 out of the past 5 races — last year he was out due to injury and the race was taken by Solwhit. Now aged 11 Big Buck’s is back, can he regain his crown?
He’ll have fierce competition though, namely in the form of unbeaten Irish mare Annie Power.
Check out H&H’s gallery of our favourite past winners and this year’s leading contenders.
The Ladbrokes World Hurdle is run over 3m and will be shown on Channel 4 live at 3.20pm
