Equestrian safety products from the German company Uvex will now be available in the UK.
Uvex — a family run business established in 1926 — has signed up British distributor Zebra Products to sell its helmets and safety eyewear.
“[We have] long recognised that the UK has the largest and most influential equestrian market,” said Marcus Krehan from Uvex.
“As the UK distributor of premier European brands, Zebra Products was the natural choice.”
Managing director of Zebra Products Simon Middleton added: “[Uvex] brings new technology and design at the highest level to the equestrian market, applying its vast extreme sporting knowledge to the protection of riders at all levels.”
Top dressage rider Isabell Werth recently won an award from the Riders4Helmets organisation for wearing a Uvex hat incompetiton.
And as part of the brand introduction to the UK, selected retailers will have the opportunity to enjoy an all-expenses paid trip to Isabell’s yard in Germany, where they will learn why she chooses to wear Uvex.
