  • English leather tack maker, Kate Negus Saddlery, is now offering a handy flash bridle conversion kit.

The kit combines a flash adapter and a flash strap to convert their cavesson nosebands into a flash.

Julia Andrews from Kate Negus Saddlery said: “A lot of the products we create come from feedback from our customers and this is a great example.

“We have people call and visit us on the show stand explaining the issues they’re facing with their horses and how they need to buy, say, a new noseband or a whole new bridle to try a concept.

“Our products are made bespoke, each part can be bought separately, even down to an individual keeper and we have options that allow customers to convert their current Kate Negus bridle into a different sort of bridle, by buying a few extra bits.

“Don’t get me wrong, we always welcome customers who want to buy new bridles, but because of the way we work, there’s not always a need to.”

“The converter has an adapter which passes around a cavesson noseband before the flash strap is threaded through it.”

Kate Negus Saddlery was established in 1989 selling quality bridlework and accessories. Originally based at Hickstead in Sussex, the company is now based near Badminton.

There are four different size options for the flash strap, so finding the perfect fit should be no problem.

Available in black and chestnut the product costs £21.50.
