Jan Jonsson, trainer of the senior Swedish Horse Trials Team and sport manager for equestrian sport throughout Sweden, will lead the BHS’ annual instructor’s convention on 13-14 November.
With 25 years of international competition experience and a bronze Olympic medal to his credit, Jan will be demonstrating his successful training techniques using guinea pig riders at the convention.
Yogi Breisner will chair the convention and Jane Holderness-Roddam, chairman of the BHTA will also be present. A discussion about the safety issues affecting Horse Trials, lead by Jane, will feature as part of the activities on the second day.
The course, although primarily for BHS instructors, is open to everyone. Tickets are available from the BHSTraining Department on 01926 707803.
