New take on an old product — Dri-Pak Liquid Soapflakes

A new take on an old-fashioned cleaning product — Soap Flakes — has been launched.

Liquid Soap Flakes claims to be ideal for washing outdoor breathable and water-resistant fabrics — even leather.

Manufacturer Dri-Pak has launched a liquid version of the traditional cleaning product to enable clothing, rugs and numnahs to be washed at cool temperatures.

Soap flakes contain no enzymes, detergents or fragrances, and are renowned for their suitability for sensitive fabrics and sensitive skin.

But the traditional “flakes” required dissolving in a hot wash.

Liquid Soap Flakes can be used for handwashing, as well as in washing machines — and are ideal for wool as well as leather, making them a perfect choice for woollen numnahs, too.

Liquid Soap Flakes cost £2.99 for a 750ml, recyclable bottle, which provides up to 15 wash loads. It is available from Tesco, Waitrose, independent retailers or direct from Dri-Pak.
