Scottish vet Keith Chandler will take over as president of the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) at the organisation’s congress in September.

Keith, from Kessock Equine Vets in Inverness, succeeds Ben Mayes in the position.

His specialist areas are equine internal medicine, stud medicine and care of the geriatric horse.

“I’m relishing the opportunity and very much look forward to taking on the role,” he told H&H.
