Glamour model turned dressage enthusiast Katie Price is reportedly suing the publishers of New! after the magazine claimed she had had an affair with rider and trainer Andrew Gould.
In August the magazine, published by Northern and Shell, ran a photo of Katie kissing Andrew in a nightclub in Southend.
She claims that readers will have understood it to mean she was cheating on her husband Alex Reid, who she says was at the nightclub at the time — as well as Andrew’s wife Polly.
She claims the magazine misrepresented the photo and kiss was neither “intimate nor passionate”.
New! allegedly refused to apologise or retract and so Katie is seeking damages for false and unfounded defamatory allegation and an injunction banning repetition of the allegations.
