Jennie Loriston-Clarke breaks foot at World Breeding Championships


  • Jennie Loriston-Clarke broke her foot at the World Breeding Championships in Verden (3-7 August).

    Jennie, who was president of the ground jury at the show, collided with a step just before the trot-up and a subsequent trip to hospital revealed a broken a bone in her foot.

    Despite being warned she would be unable to judge, Jennie returned to the rings with her foot strapped up.

    “Everyone was very kind,” said Jennie, who is now home and awaiting further treatment for the break.
