Horse & Hound is celebrating the winter competition season with a new bumper winter show guide, which will hit the news stands on 6 October.
Organisers can take advantage of the chance to include their shows, events or training clinics in this directory free of charge.
H&H content director Sarah Jenkins said: “Having run our Spring Show Directory in a February issue of Horse & Hound for so many years, we decided it was about time we started helping our readers plan their entire competition and training season by producing this second, Winter Show Directory to fill in the diary dates we are unable to cover in February because shows have simply not planned them yet.
“We may be out of the eventing season, but for others their season is just getting under way, and we want to help them with the most fulfilling itinerary they’ve had yet.”
As well as thousands of show dates, the guide will include training clinics and demos.
Sarah added: “This means riders who are focusing on moving up a level next year or simply want to consolidate their learning from the summer with further training can find the best guidance and motivation.
“We do hope all show venues, organisations and trainers will take this opportunity to market their events for free to the most engaged and competitive equestrian audience that exists in the UK.”
