Charlotte Dujardin wins TV sport award
Charlotte Dujardin has been voted Sky Sports’ sportswoman of the month for April, adding to her long list of accolades.
Charlotte received 35% of the votes cast by Sky viewers, ahead of netballer Helen Housby (12%). Golfer Lexi Thompson (15%) finished third.
The gold medal-winning dressage rider last month became Britain’s first ever World Cup champion when she won in Lyon with Valegro.
And the world number one rode Uthopia (Metall/Inspektur) to a 79.22% grand prix freestyle to music win at Saumur CDI in France at the weekend (1-4 May).
